Evinrude Centre unveils Leon's Pad in new deal between the City of Peterborough and local furniture store

Welcome to Leon's Pad. Leon's Furniture in Peterborough has signed on with the city to sponsor one of the pads at the Evinrude Centre. The five-year deal sees the Leon's logo and colours used throughout the space, including on the ice and on the walls, with new couches, seating, stools and bistro sets in the family-friendly warm upper room. “Leon's Peterborough is extremely proud to be partnering with the city to name one of the pads at the Evinrude Center,” stated Tom Reburn, Leon's general manager, in a press release.

Leon's is up to the $5K challenge for Peterborough United Way

Tom Reburn (left), general manager of Leon's Furniture on Lansdowne St. W., and Bob Gauvreau, vice-chair of this year's United Way Campaign, mark the occasion as Reburn donates $5,000 to the United Way. It's part of the 5K Challenge issued by Gauvreau, of Gauvreau Associates, who encourages other local business leaders to match his $5,000 donation.

On April 27th, 2017 Leon’s Peterborough Donated new furniture to furnish the common space at the women’s shelter. Leon’s Peterborough has been a proud partner with the YWCA for many years and hopes to continue supporting them in the future!!
